Both SONOVEIN® and ECHOPULSE® operate with a single use patented disposable, the EPack™, ensuring cooling and coupling functions. This disposable is installed on the device before each treatment and protects the patient’s skin and optimizes the image quality.
It is composed of a balloon, placed on the Visualization and Treatment Unit (VTU), a pouch filled with coupling liquid and a set of tubing for fluid circulation between the balloon and the pouch.
EPack is a class I medical device (according to Directive 93/42/EEC) designed and marketed by Theraclion. EPack has received CE-mark to support treatments performed with Theraclion’s Echotherapy devices, providing acoustic coupling and skin cooling.
